8th November, 2011, TECHLINK and APPLITEK teams commission the on-line fast multi-wavelength
infrared analyzer for hydrogen in wet chlorine at the Aditya Birla chlorine plant
of Map Ta Phut, Rayong, Thailand. This is the first analyzer of this kind installed
in a unit of the Aditya Birla group, and the second one installed in Thailand. The
on-line fast multi-wavelength infrared analyzer greatly enhances public and occupational
safety of the chlorine plant by providing continuous monitoring of the wet chlorine
stream at the outlet of each electrolyzer and giving early warning of the presence
of hydrogen in the chlorine stream
24th, 25th March 2011, TECHLINK’s Director Stephan Misrachi speaks at the two-day
seminar of the Alkali Manufacturer’s Association of India, Dahej, . On the agenda,
hydrogen explosions in chlorine streams, NCL3, and safety analysis of piping connections
to chlorine storage tanks.
